Professor Henry gives a difficult test on the very first day. Yikes! However, if you have time to read, write journals, and take extensive essay exams; you will pass. You will also read many short fiction stories and poems; then critically analyze them. This course is well worth taking. Barbara Henry is inspiring and an outstanding professor.

I think Dr. Henry really has the personality of a worn out shoe. She is very hard to get along with and I hated her class. Screwed me over by changing a deadline at the last minute and refused to take my paper and subsequently failed me. For Pete's sake..NEVER TAKE HER!!!

she dosent speak much to the class, but if you go and see her in her office she is very helpful. i got a 90 on all four essays. and received an A in the overall class. shes not that interesting, but she is a fair grader.

EASY CLASS. hardly any homework. (You will only have to read a few stories) All of the essays are written in class, which sounds bad at first, but writing all of the essays in class gave me a lot more time for fun! NO HOMEWORK! She's very willing to help if you ask her for it!

She's kind of dry... 4 drafts of 4 papers due... she's very blatant with her editing, but peer editing is mandatory and done in class. It's boring, but if you can put a paper together and know the editing process, you'll be fine.

Henry's a bit persnickitty when it comes to grading, but she's cool. This is not a difficult class... it's really boring, but that's not really Henry's fault cause she doesn't have much to work with here. Journals are due every Monday; aside from that the class doesn't require much.
