Very knowledgeable! Barry is a funny and sweet man. He is a generous marker and while class attendance is unnecessary, if you're interested in Geog, he's your man! Course is dry, and don't expect your papers/exams back on a timely basis. Definitely an easy A.

Barry is a really nice guy, but his classes are too mickey mouse as someone else already pointed out; you could play games on your notebook all class and still get an A+. Also, he has you write too many notes off the board, and the lectures tend to be a bit boring. Overall, the class was still good, but he's overrated.

Barry’s classes are so easy they will make you weep, but that manages to not really take away anything, as I feel I learned everything I needed to. Excellent teacher, super nice guy, would highly recommend. The only way to get less than 100% on anything is to not hand it in (and not ask for an extension, which he will always give you btw...)

I love Barry! Such a nice man and very helpful, can be extremely boring in class; bring your pillow. He gives very precise notes; they are your bible for the exams... As long as you get the notes, don't bother coming to class.

I love Barry Weaver. They call him "Dream Weaver" Best prof I have ever had. I took Geog 104, 105 and 232 and now am enrolled in another class with him at Uvic. Not only is he fair with his marks but his lectures are so interesting and he is the nicest guy you will ever meet. If you have a chance to take a class with Weaver DO IT!

Barry is the BEST Prof at Camosun, hands down. It's not that he's "nice", which he is...it's because he cares about his students succeeding in his course, and doing well in their future post-secondary studies. This is my 4th class with him, and they've all been GREAT! 4 X A+ all thanks to Barry!

Barry is the most accomodating, and sweetest prof I've ever had. Goes out of his way to accomodate student's needs. I missed the orientation,so he sat down with me individually for an hour to tell me about the course;I was going out of town,so he let me write the exam earlier than planned.Such a nice guy! Highly reccommed taking his class.
