Best teacher ever! He explains what he wants clearly and gives very interesting lectures. His discussion boards require critical thinking, which is one of the traits i have improved on while taking this class. He responds to concerns fast and unlike other teachers, reads what you turn in so that he can give accurate feedback. best class ever!

I was taking this class online. Test are incredible hard but you have some attempts. If you want to learn, take his class. You don't read a lot but you watch many videos where hi is studying

Beau is one of the best professors I've had at CPCC. He's super funny and makes you think a lot. The readings that we're assigned are interesting but can be long, but it's better than reading from the textbook. My class only meets once a week, but I now wish I had chosen a more frequent class. He replies fast to emails too, which is helpful.

This class was highly recommended to me, and I am so happy that I took it. Bower's is one of the funniest professors at CPCC. While the class was mostly online, we met for group discussions weekly. He's serious about what he teaches, but laid back as a person. He expands on his lessons and teaches a ton of really cool stuff. Fantastic class!

I took this class online. Heavy on discussions but as long as you participate and follow the criteria he asks for, you should do well. Extra Credit opportunity too.

Super cool teacher. Gives a bunch of extra credit so if you don't make an A or at least B you aren't trying. Lectures are long but as long as you are paying attention and taking notes you'll do fine. If you need help he is always happy to assist.

This is a good class to take online, his lectures are long but they cover everything you need to know for his tests, so be prepared to take notes. There are discussion boards that will have to be completed also, so you will learn alot if you are open to it.

This is my second time taking Mr. Bowers (First was in a different class and in person, this one was online). Still a great teacher. Expect to participate a lot in this class; there are discussion boards, but you're free to be open and relaxed during them like a class discussion. Tests aren't bad, and the final paper isn't either.

I do not suggest taking this class, at least online. My discussion boards weren't late and I had examples but still got terrible grades. He said it was because I turned it in too close to the unit ending, yea okay 2 days before but I have other things going on. His tests are ridiculous! DONT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Very good teacher to have. His classes are always interesting, he always gives good lectures, and I was never bored once in his class. His tests are incredibly tough however; all the questions are based on the many online lectures he gives (4 or 5 lectures a test, and 20-45 minutes each). He is helpful and gives plenty of chances for extra credit.

Beau was one of the best teachers I had at CP. I took three different classes with him. Real laid back, really into what he's talking about, and gives great, interesting lectures. You gotta pay attention, but if you do, his tests are easy. Oh and don't buy the book. If you take any historyanthropology, go for Beau.

He was nice and laid back and if you had any questions he'd help. You could tell he was really interested in what he was talking about. The class wasn't hard, you just had to do the work and you'd pass.

Beau is awesome! Took him online over the summer, he's very funny and keeps things interesting! One time we got 2 points extra credit bc the Lakers won. I didn't find the subject very interesting but if you do the work and meet his expectations you will get a good grade. Ample opportunity for extra credit; take advantage. Take his class for sure.

Bowers is a good professor. He is fun and interesting to listen to and is full of information. Take notes constantly or else you will be screwed on the tests, even if it seems useless. Unless he's telling a personal story, write it down. The tests are timed, but with 2 hours. He is pretty cool.

I took ANT-210 online with him. Was a little intimidated by all the material on blackboard the first time I signed in. Once he explained how his class worked, it was pretty much a breeze. You will have to read and think critically. If that is not a problem for you, I highly recommend this class. Top Notch Snizz.

Bowers is awesome. All you have to do is show up for class and listen and the tests are a breeze. Occasionally, he'll make you actually use your brain on a test question, but for the most part if you have common sense... it's no problem. His lectures are fun, and he's pretty funny most of the time.

The class was online and I register late to get in. Overall good teacher but make sure you do your assignment and submit it on time. I couldn't do my discussion forum one time since I had no idea about it. Tests are really easy and its open book.
