Rothman is a great mentor and teacher. Very respectable and definitely gets the job done as a teacher. He is very knowledgable and he lets you out early alot. class is normally 30-45 minutes long

This guy is not the best "teacher" in class but he is overall awesome. He is an easy grader, and he is great one on one if you need extra help. If you need extra help buy the dvds the school offers and you will be golden!!! Take this prof and BUY THE DVDS!!!! Easy A

He is extremely nice. He doesn't take attendance and he doesn't check homework BUT he's hard to understand, writes really small on the board, jumps around from point to point and CANNOT explain something clearly. Unless you already know all the material covered in the course, don't take his class. The textbook will teach you more than he will.

Really nice guy. Examples he gives are quite confusing. Without learning this information in the past it is quite difficult to pick up or understand. Different professors may be a better choice, or find someone in the class who understands the material to help. He's a genius, just not a great professor.

I really liked him. I feel like he taught us what we needed to know and skipped all the other stuff that wasn't necessary that other teachers might teach. he's one of those teachers you'll either like or hate. he does talk to the board though, so just pay attention and listen and you'll be fine :)

Don't take unless you already have some math background. If you're trying to learn for the first time it WILL be difficult, because he oftentimes makes small mistakes or goes on tangents. If you pay attention/know what's going on you'll be able to tell what he mean when he puts a wrong number on the board, but if not you'll get lost quickly.

Do not take this professor. He "teaches" you all semester and you can get good grades on the quizzes and in-class tests but he does not prepare you for the final and if you fail the final you fail the course regardless of your average. Should not be a teacher.

was doing extremely well in class until i bombed the midterm. you have to study a lot for his big tests. he doesn't take attendance, he doesn't check hw, he doesn't care whether or not you leave. easy A besides the midterm. 1 more thing. he lectures to the chalkboard, sit front and center if you want to learn. and bring an energy drink too, need it

Prof. Rothman is a great guy. I frequently chat with him and we get along great. When I come for extra help he is extremely clear on what to know. His quiz's are extremely easy and he is very amiable if you have a problem taking a test. Take him if you want to have a good professor and plus class ends 30 minutes early!

Talks fairly quiet, but I sat in the front of the class, so I didn't have a problem. Doesn't always give the best detail, but he genuinely wants you to do well. Curses sporadically. Doesn't check homework. Throws out a joke occasionally. Great guy overall. Teaching style works great for independent learners. Would take him again in a heartbeat.

First half semester is very easy then second gets harder if you have no calc under your belt. He speaks very softly so you should sit in the front of the room. The school made text books are not very good and a lot of answers are wrong. You will probably have to take this course. That being said I would try to take him as he tries to pass everyone

He is such a nice guy, and I felt bad because the class did not give him much respect. He is more than willing to help, and sometimes allows the class to work in groups on quizzes. However, he speaks too softly, writes way too small, and sometimes forgets how to do certain problems. He wasn't my favorite professor, but was still tolerable.

Take him. Doesn't care if you come to class or leave early. Goes over everything that will be on the test and quizzes. There will be no surprises on the exams. Good guy.
