Im in graduate school now and can tell you that this woman needs to either retire or go to some sort of re-visitation of schools. Also, AA would gladly accept her. I also work for a firm in chicago now, Foot, Cone & Belding, and the only good thing Ive learned from her is tolerance. Thats a shame.

People seem to hate Betsy but I find her very knowledgable and interesting. Sure, she may not be up to date on some of the technology, but that's what your Software classes are for. She does her part. She works very hard behind the scenes as well and I believe that she takes a strong interest in her students. Cut her some slack, she's a great teacher as long as you understand what she's all about and you do your work.

um if you are thinking about going into graphic design she will make your live a living hell. you will learn from her but at your own risk. I have found it is easier to work with her outside of her area than inside.

i made A's in all classes and can tell you that she never once taught me a damn thing. I relied on other professors for criticism and software applications. She does not know how to use software, in fact, the students teach her. shes very past, no present.

Does not seem to know about current design trends. Stuck very much in the past, while encouraging students to "push the envelope." Very unclear in giving assignments then gets upset with undesired results. Knows next to nothing of current technologies available.
