His quizzes are take home, exams are not hard and he's great on partial credit. He is a very nice person and he always offers to help. He is a little disorganized and his lecture is kinda confusing. Overall this is an easy class as long as you put work in it. His office hours and homework are more helpful than the lecture TBH

Good professor overall and great guy but he tends to be a little disorganized with his teaching, he tends to rush through some concepts so you have to do extra studying on your own to figure them out before the tests. He is always available for extra help if you need it though.

I took precal in high school and pass without a problem so this class was no sweat. BUT. For those who didn't or had problems when taking it the first time, then avoid this professor, because he has a sloppy agenda, so he rushes us through the semester without really teaching us and when he does teach, it's something irreverent to the course...!

Great professor. Really cool! If you need help, just drop by his office before or after class and he will help you. You must attend class to pass! Homeworks are reasonable and helps if you do it as a study for the exams.

This is my first time writing a review on RateMyProfessor, but the kindness of Mr. peters drive me to do so. Very respectful guy at the same time very funny. Keeps you interested while sitting in this heavy calss. Offer a lot of bonus points. Take home quizes. 5 major tests one can be replaced by the final exam. attendance & HW are not important

Mr. Peters is a great professor. Once you go into higher level math, YOU HAVE TO PUT IN THE WORK! He teaches you what you need to know, and his HW assignments are meant to help you on your tests. IF you study and put the effort you can pass his class. Plus if you go to class everyday and show that you are willing to learn, he will help you!

Mr. Peters started off ok, but by the middle of the semester he was not good. He moved too fast, and assigned a ton of homework, most of which he never covered in class. He refused to help me on homework and class problems, but would help other students. He only wanted to teach the students who "got it" and not the ones who didn't.

He is very helpful if you don't understand something he will help. I was scared to take math but with him I wasn't. I HIGHLY recommend him. He cares a lot about his students and will tell you what to do if you have a low grade.

Very nice guy, but does not explain anything that is not in the book already. Creates his own problems which often lead to timely confusion during class time rather than using that time to give you step by step process and teaching you how to do calculus he assumes you already know. Limited amount of examples with little explanation skips steps

DO NOT TAKE Pre-Calc from him unless you have prior experience. Has to check the text at every step in lecture, NOT COMFORTABLE w/ the material. Does not give enough time for tests, practice tests misleading. Nice enough guy but definitely unqualified to be teaching anything above Trig. Had a 4.0 until this class

Prof. Peters is a very good teacher and a VERY patient man! - He is always willing to help and clarifies the problems you didn't get from homework - but in the time alloted for class that's what he can do - you HAVE to do all the homework prior to coming to class because math is not an easy class! - I highly recommend him and would take him again!

Some of the lessons go quick, so come to class prepared and pay attention! This class is challenging but not impossible if you do the work. If you need help, ask - he's really nice and loves to crack jokes when he thinks no one is paying attention! I wish he taught more classes - I'd definitely take him again!
