Dr. Umble is great! Her classes can be very boring, and the tests are pretty tough, but know your vocabulary. You will need to study for the tests to get an A or a B, but she's a better 201 teacher than some at MU.

Very hard to understand. She uses vocab that is hard to follow b/c you don't know what it means. Lectures are boring and the textbook is poorly written and useless.

Umble is a very nice lady,is more than willing to help any of her students if they have a hard time understanding things. Her lectures are a bit boring and the material is a bit dry but there is no real way to avoid it. The class picks up towards the end with a big group project. Gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. Straightforward class.

awful teacher. nice lady but her and her husband both cannot teach. she loves to waste paper and make kids buy the book not use it, and make copies (everyone spent atleast $20 each. $100 as a group) for a presentation, no one read the 30 page articles. a little ridiculous and she cannot teach

Hard class, but a great lady. Too boring for my tastes, but she's amazingly helpful; she let me turn in tons of papers late because i was so busy. Very trusting and caring; makes a phenominal Comm Dept. Chair. She is very approachable about problems
