It's obvious he cares about the success of his students; he gives great feedback and is willing to sit down and help you with some problems. For being the dept. head, he is very accessible and easy to talk to. He shows interest in his students and learns some names too in the large lecture (mostly the students in the front and who ask questions)

Paxton is an AMAZING teacher. Very knowledgeable about CS as a whole. He's also super kind, and the TAs in this class were also amazing. Expect an assignment a week, with about every other one being with a partner.

Paxton is SO nice and teaches in such a clear and concise way. He goes out of his way to make topics understood by everyone in the classroom (to the detriment of more advanced students occasionally) and is clearly passionate about the subjects he teaches. I would HIGHLY recommend taking any level computer programming class from him.

Paxton was great. This class can be easy if you put in the effort, its assignment based, usually with a partner. You get a week for each assignment and they're usually pretty easy because he lectures really well. There are three total tests, the tricky part is each question is worth like 30 pts, but go for partial credit and you'll be fine.
