Comment:

Brady himself is overtly friendly and cheerful about Geology, despite it being dull and boring , so please try and be nice to him. He has a number of assignments that are meant to buff your grade as well as study guides and lecture notes. There are class group sessions if you're struggling. There is always something in-class, so don't ever skip.

Brady, while a nice guy, was the worst professor I have had here at CMU. He reads directly off the powerpoints, makes you take a pointless field trip, and crammed in a project where I learned nothing. Just because others say easy A does not mean you should suffer through this class. I strongly discourage anyone from taking his class.

Took this class online. Professor Brady responded to emails quickly and was very helpful when I needed assistance. The class consists of four exams and a writing assignment. The four exams can be taken at any time in the eight weeks and the writing assignment is due by week 7. Exams are easy if you prepare. I recommend this class with this Prof.

I loved this class. Brady was an easy teacher, he can be unorganized but I loved him! If you go to class and study the maps you will do fine. He counts only 4 of 5 exams and only counts half of the map quizzes. Great teacher, funny, and awesome. Take him.

If I could redo my schedule, I wouldn't pick him. His class is super easy, but his quizzes and exams aren't, so it's hard to keep up with the class. He doesn't teach what you're tested on. Plus, he doesn't do grades, so it's impossible to feel confident in.

Bob Brady is a great guy. His class is super easy. He gives you powerpoints and he reads directly from them in class. It gets extremely boring, but he'll hand out an In-Class-Exercise (ICE) and those are word for word from the pp. The quizzes are extremely easy. The exams are easy if you study. Ovarall, an extremely easy (but very boring) class.

he's a good teacher, and i dont think he reads of the pp's thats just for you to follow along, he's good at what he does. his jokes are corny but that does lighten up the class a lot.book is useless, and the class i thought was about world cultures, the main topic was all geographical.that got me mad. but overall easy A just study the video notes.

Oh, Bob Brady...This guy is hilarious! The class is super easy with the ICE's (which comes directly from ppt), quizzes (which he tells you ahead of time) but the labs are kinda bad but you should still do well in the class. Even the field trips were interesting. All around funny guy with the lame jokes. Just take Brady, hah!

The class was really boring, but also really easy. Sadly you have to go to class because you do worksheets and stuff. DON'T BUY THE BOOK!! I used it once the whole semester. This class is the easiest way to fill the lab requirement. You do the labs during class and they are basically like worksheets. Final exam is optional.
