I did'nt say anything before because I was so dissappointed with this class... many people have said that this isa good teacher, I barely got an A- and with other teachers I get A+ so if he is so good why do over half of the class fail? If you want a good grade this course, try someone else. He is not a good choice for new students.

An entertaining prof; Looks like Kevin Spacey, speaks with a strong Roumanian accent, and keeps the class laughing at his jokes. He may be difficult to understand at times, and his writing on the chalkboard can get messy. Doesn't want to get bogged down answering questions in class, but will help in office hours, but he taught the material well.

Easy midterms, and a funny prof. However, the lectures are WAY too fast (I write very fast and have NEVER had a problem ever keeping up with anything before.) Felt like a terribly long hour most of the time.

Very funny guy, if sometimes a bit difficult to understand. Has trouble keeping the class quiet some times. He taught us easier methods than in the textbook for doing some problems. He also explained tricks to do well on the final. Midterms were pretty easy although one took too much time.

Definitely one of my favorite teachers. Doesn't have his PHD yet or the cockyness that often seems to come with it. Very helpful and funny guy! ONE!! (some people who take his class with understand that)

This guy is great. He's working on his English still, so his sense of humor is very contextual. The best thing about him is that he understands what it's like to be new to something and he can teach the baby steps you will need before you can become a master. He's very generous with extra h elp, too

took a 3 week class in the summer and got an A+! he's amazingly easy, despite no calculators allowed. his jokes are hilarious! the BEST math prof, encourages you to go see him in office hours if you have trouble.
