Dr. Bonnie Gustav was wonderful. My favorite college professor. I took several classes with her, each one she made fascinating. The osteology lab was fantastic. I will never forget many important thing she taught me. Highly intelligent, great personality, tough but caring.

The best professor I ever had. I will never forget all the life hacks she taught us. Brilliant woman, definitely makes you work hard and youll appreciate her for it.

I had studied "Primate Behavior" with Dr. Gustav. Her lectures were so interesting and informative that the time just flew. Although the subject matter was fascinating in and of itself, I doubt that any other professor could have taught it as well. Bonnie Gustav breathed life into the subject matter, and her classes were exciting and absorbing.

She is a pretty good professor. The class was pretty much always interesting. But there are lots of readings (unless you just want to look at the powerpoints), but for the tests, you need to read the articles. The tests are all takehome and can be tricky. Overall, it's a good class and I would recommend taking her.

Fun class. Great/interesting speaker, although some material is just plain boring no matter what. All tests/work was take home. Midterm/final was M.C. and short essays, nothing too difficult. Good class all round.

Its the most interesting class I've ever taken. I'd pay to go to the class for fun. She can answer any question in a moment and is very approachable. Her tests are very tricky though, which is annoying. I had to spend a lot of time on them.

I doubt any other prof can teach Sexual Anthropology as well as Gustav did. She's a great speaker -- funny, intelligent, excited about the material. You don't really have to take notes because she puts them up online. Just sit back, listen, and enjoy. But don't be late! And do not exceed your absenses! Class done using PowerPoint presentations. Fun

She is great! Very intelligent, understandable, and smart woman. Her lectures are interesting. Pay attention to what she says and read all the readings(though it's a little too much) and you will be good.First exam in class and two others- take home. I reccomend her! She is cool!

She is a great professor easy grader. In addition, The class was so focused on sex . I day dreemed so much about sex with other girls in class. I was not the only one thinking this way .I even had inter course with a girl in the class in the male bath room in james building. Ever since than i learnrd a lot about my self and other females.

in reference to the comment below. You obviously were not listening to a word she was saying if thats what you got out of the class. she is a fantastically smart woman with much to offer. You based her entire course on two side comments made obviously used to emphasize a main point. you should go back to middle school-thats why SHE teaches college

A good choice for students who rather prefer a mother to an intellectual leader. Frequently resorts to insulting students, to remind them how much they don't know--or how much she does. She compared her husband to a baby and delighted in her children having taught their nanny English, in my class. A disgrace to academia.

Very cool professor. She really cares for her students. But her pet peeve is lateness because it distrupts her class, which is understandable. She tries to intimidate the students by telling us how tough and no nonsense she is, which is not true.

i did not know what was going on for the first part of the semester so i had to act quickly but all the way she asked if there was anything that i needed she would help. i dont think the grading is all that fair. i think she is a little harsh.
