Prof McEliece is harder then other econ profs but you will learn more. I think most people leaving negative comments expected it to be a breeze because its a 100 level class but your at a university, step your game up! If you apply yourself and try hard you will do well and learn a lot. You always get the grade you deserve.

His teaching methods are difficult and he requires you to put forth more effort than most professors. However, if you apply yourself and work hard the level of understanding recieved is far higher than other classes.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! His microeconomics class was the most frustrating class I have ever taken. He doesn't help you at all, useless to raise your hand to answer a question during class because no matter what, it's wrong. I don't understand how our business department continues to let this man teach. unbelievable.

The previous reviews are spot on. This is the worst professor I've ever had. He uses an out-dated book, rambles on during class with negativity and builds you up to tear you down. To top it all off his lack of real world experience makes him sound really ignorant.

The previous reviews are spot on. This is the worst professor I've ever had. He does not share any of the templates from the lecture for fear of sharing. Imagine that! Yes, he rambles on during class with negativity and builds you up to tear you down. To top it all off his lack of real world experience makes him sound crazy & ignorant.

He has a heart? somewhere. The number one PROBLEM with him teaching finance is that he is career military. Westpoint is not proper preparation for finance. Take a professor who has actually WORKED IN INDUSTRY and can apply real life examples. Seriously, take the class at SDSU or with an adjunct at PLNU and you will get a lot more from it.

The only reason I gave him mostly 2s is because I feel like somewhere out there, things could've been worse. Though I still gave him a 1 on helpfulness because things could not have been worse. Good luck with this waste of time.

Wow. What made his class hard was that the book we were reading did not match his lessons-so the dept. scrapped the book. He expects you to see the world his way at times, but can be an excellent teacher. He makes you work for the A, but it is not impossible. This is not an easy class.

Full of himself professor, with absurd exams. Very, very hostile to feedback. He may be a nice guy, but he is just another terrible instructor at PLNU business school.

this class isn't hard all you have to do is make sure you understand what is going to be on the 3 tests and he goes over it too. alot of it is common sence. I'd say take this class with Crane over mac attack but if your a business major this stuff will work for and help you.

Wow. Okay, took Adjiboloso and wasn't too impressed, but this guy is down right riddiculous. Classes are practically worthless. Questions will get you nowhere and take up half the class period. You have to self teach EVERYTHING. Im a BUS major and have a 3.75 and killed myself for that class to get a B. Listen and save yourself the frustration!

The hardest and most confusing class ever. All you do is draw graphs and he will spend class time confusing you. No answer is really ever completely correct and will spend 10 minutes waiting for the right answer. He is a nice person and knows his stuff, just can not really relate it in the classroom. Impossible tests, but fair with curves.

realllllly hard, kind of insane in a bad way, and completely confusing. his class baffled me. i kind of like how he does "socratic method" teaching with all the questions and stuff, but he's really ambiguous and i was lost most of the time
