Dr.Burke and his wife are such sweet people. Dr.Burke may be very soft spoken, and monotoned, but he wants to see his students succeed. Extremely easy work, and will work with you if you need arrangements. I went through a bad semester because of an ill family member, I was gone for three weeks & he let me make all my work up. Truly compassionate.

He is very mono-tone, however he is one of the easiest professors if you can memorize material that was just given to you during the last 30 minutes! Yes he's old, but it's too easy not to take... recommend him to anyone, I got a 4.0 easy, and I didn't go to every class!

Just like everyone says, he is extremely boring. It was very hard for me to stay awake in his class, no matter how much coffee I drank! But I feel a little bad because he seems like a nice old man, maybe he's just been teaching for too long.

The man is a fool. He gives you 15 point quizes and you are guranteed a 12 on each one because the answers are multiple choice and all of the possibilities could be the right answer. His exams are a lot easier. Overall the guy is a mono tone old man. He's a nice guy but he needs to give it up.

Mr Burke is soo Boring!!! I never want to see Jim Leare Again.His notes were so boring and did not follow the book.The quizzes are from the book, you must read it.His tests are easy if you memorize the handout and words.Follow and take notes on the movie and memorize that and you will get a ok grade

Although the class was boring at times he does a power point right before each test with the questions AND answers. if you have a good short term memory you will do well. The jim lehr is a little boring but if you remember anything about it, every test has ten extra credit questions all about it.
