This professor is awesome and the class I had with him (mus 300) was VERY easy. Yes, the tests were kind of hard, but each of his extra credit opportunities make up for a test. Yes, an ENTIRE test. Take him if you want an easy A. He's funny too.

I hated this class. He was a terrible professor. He constantly told us about things that weren't even on the test and would be half asleep through a lot of the lessons. How can anyone learn anything if the professor himself is bored with the material? I wouldn't recommend this class to be taught by him ever again.

Definitely easy on the eyes. I do agree that you shouldn't take the class if you have no music background, because it would be hard to understand some material. He does a great job of making sure the class is interesting. He's pretty dreamy on his guitar too.

Really funny laid back but made sure you understood the material. Good teacher at times hated the class but it was an overall fun class and I learned alot and he has this sexy middle-aged man George Clooney type thing going for him as well!

This prof. sucks. He thinks a MUS 300, History of American Music, is music theory. He expects you to play the 4 bar blues and a pentatonic scale. If your someone with no music background do not take his class. He strokes his guitar in front of the class like he's an f'n guitar genius. He ain't s***. I gotta sing in front of the class for a project.

Nice guy, but taking MUS129 in 3 hour chunks with him is a bad idea. I have prior music experience but a lot dont. 4 days a week is fine but all in one night? It's excruciating.

Has a strong accent (sometimes hard to understand) but he's very laid-back and helpful. Even if you don't practice, it's an easy A (I should've a lot more than I did, still got an A). And although I'm obviously not an expert, I still learned the basics. If you're interested in learning guitar, you'll certainly pick it up with this class.
