He is excellent at his subject. Some of his observations will leave you in awe of him. His lectures can be a bit scattered, but don't mistake them for his intelligence. He isn't afraid to accept that he is human, and is always willing to answer questions.

The homework for class is busy work and the essays are not difficult to get a good grade on. But, don't come into this class thinking you're just studying the film versions of Shakespearean plays, he focuses lectures on whatever he's researching at the time and in-depth analyzes the plays, which you MUST read to pass. Exams are obscure and awful!

Professor Ross is an absolute nut - funny to listen to during lectures, slightly unorganized but he keeps on top of things. Blew my mind a few times in Shakespeare.

He is Really good at going through shakespeare and makimg it fun. The tests are pretty long but he is a very fair grader. He also has students do a mutimedia presentatioN and as long as u put in an effort he'll give you a good grade. Attendance isnt mandatory but you need to go to get a good grade. Its not a super easy class but its fun.

Prof. Ross is very smart. You just need to get used to the way he thinks and talks---not an ordinary way, because a genius is always extraordinary. He's very nice to students and extremely flexible, which makes him special and cool.

Dr. Ross is a top rate professor. People that have mislabled him on this board as disorganized are probably used to teachers that spoonfeed and coddle their students. Ross makes you think for yourself. I also find the comments regarding his level of respect toward his students to be untrue. One of the best teachers I've ever had.
