Comment:
He did not follow the textbook, which made things very complicated when it came to studying. He has illegible hand writing, so reading his notes was tough on its own. He hardly types anything up, other than the midterm and the list of needed subjects. Prone to making mistakes and creating a mess on the whiteboard. Very kind gentleman.

Worst prof I've had so far. His writing was impossible to read sitting in the front row! (too small) Mumbles all the time, and basically instead of teaching students it feels like he was solving problems just for himself, facing the board and standing in a way, that covered everything he wrote. Solves everything in weird ways, TA does a better job

You can't even see his writing on the board. He mumbles during his lectures. I stopped going to class and just did all the practice work.

He seems like a nice guy, but he is hard to hear (even with his mic) and his writing is hard to read at times. Pretty fair on tests. I recommend buying/obtaining the book as it will be a good primary/secondary learning source.

Comment:
Tests ARE fair. Several people got 100% for midterm 1, then he even offered to take the highest of the two midterm marks. As such, I didn't study much for midterm 2 and still got around 90%. He's a little mumbly at times, but seems more than fair. There's very little material to begin with. Do some studying and you can get an A.

Whoever keeps saying 'the tests are fair' is probably the professor or his TA. One of ryerson's worst professors and he is not worth defending.

He's not too bad. A little hard to hear (over noisy students) sometimes, but the material isn't too too tough. His tests are quite fair.

Comment:
He's a really nice guy. Teaching method may not be for everyone and some of the comments here are perhaps justifiable. But all the mean comments and people blaming him for poor grades are COMPLETELY unjustifiable. Tests are fair, if you cant learn from the prof learn from the book or previous years tests. Poor grades are for poor students here.

If you say that he is not a good prof, then you just never had a really bad profs who are just jerks. Grandison is great. His writing is not the best one, but if you don't get the stuff, he will explain you everything. And he really cares about students.

This guy is just absolutely horrible. Needs to retire or be fired ASAP. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Lectures, text, notes are all useless and prof. makes course material more difficult then it is. Starts almost half an hour late sometimes for one hour class, assignments are ridiculously hard. If you get the chance change profs or take another semester.

Someone please get this guy FIRED! Lectures, notes, book used are all completely useless for the students. Professor makes this subject completely confusing and unclear, ill prepared, and isually 15-20 minutes later for 1 hour class. Too lazy to write on the board or put some effort in solving examples. Uses very unorganized and sloppy notes.

Comment:
This was supposed to be a relatively easy course before Grandison took over. He doesn't follow the book and does not communicate what he writes on the board well. Either he is ill-prepared or does not care. Avoid at all costs.
