Text book was not a necessity but separated the grade of an A from a A-. Attendance is not technically mandatory but tests are primarily based on lecture. It is difficult to find time to speak with him out of class. However, Chis is terrific at having the class engaged during lecture and wants you to pass. Would recommend to anyone without doubt.

He's an awesome teacher. He makes lectures interesting, so it's easy to pay attention in class. Hakala is hilarious, and also tells great stories that are relevent. You have to read from the book for quizzes. Exams are based on notes, which he writes on the board.

hes the man!!!! by far the best professor i've ever had. i actually WANT to go to class. hes so interesting and funny which makes the class fly by. also isnt that tough either. if you get a chance i would definitely take him!!

probably one of the most interesting teachers I have ever had. he makes the class fun. Hakala always has a funny story to tell. the only downside is that he writes the AP psych exams and so on our tests he phrases the multiple choice in a way that is hard to understand. I recommend but this class is NOT easy.

He is one of the best and most funniest teacher here on campus. Very Outgoing knows his stuff and very energetic. He makes the class a lot of fun and gets you involved.
