Good instructor; he 'co-taught' the course with Larry Hale & I'm not sure which of them I liked better! Dr. Lacroix was very down-to-earth & knows his stuff well. Given he's Dean of Sc. he was very well-prepared! DO make sure you read the text & keep up in order to understand everything but it's not unreasonably hard. I'd take his course again.

Very clear and concise, explains topics very well. Uses the notes straight from the textbook maker, but if you take notes in class, you should be fine for his exams. Seems like a really down-to-earth guy with no ego. Would definitely take a course from him again.

Lacorix is awesome! I have taken two courses from him now and I enjoyed both of them. He is so laid back and easy going. He also actually cares about his students! And for the plant field trips you actually get to go on field trips instead of having to spend three hours in a lab!

Chris is by far one of the best profs I've had. He really loves botany and tries extra hard to make it interesting. He's very funny and approachable - GREAT to talk to outside class and in. If you can take a class from him, do it.
