i took his intro class in a big lecture hall and hated him. 2 years later i took another higher level class with him and my opinion completely changed. i think he sucks with the intro classes because most of the kids in there are young and don't give a crap anyway so why should he. he was a different teacher when i had him the second time. he was funny and engaging and i learned a lot from him.

I loved this prof. when I went to UMass. Looks to me like some disgruntled student has been busy in a computer lab diss-ing a prof. who had the guts to give him/her a grade they truly deserved but never got from the other profs. in the Comm Dept.

Nice guy and he's very smart, but his exams are crazy! He had to curve the last couple exams because no one got higher than a 75. I expect he's going to curve the final. You won't have to take him because this is his last year I heard.

nice guy, but the tests are very difficult, and the class sucks. It's too bad this class is required to be a comm major. Don't let this class discourage you from being a communication major. There are many other cool classes and better professors.
