Don't get me wrong, she is an amazing person who actually is very nice and extremely involved with her students. However, I do not recommend 297. This class is just ridiculous at times. There are a lot of out of class meetings and requirements. I would avoid this class but take another of hers, she's a good teacher.

She's very nice and usually helpful. The tests in my 101 class were online so you could use your notes. There is a few projects. Only bad thing is that i missed a project and she wouldn't let me make it up so it really pulled down my grade.

Loved how she used a coursepack to know exacty what to study for on tests. She is a wonderful teacher and really encourages class participation, which makes it more fun

Dr. Egan is a great teacher! She goes over things multiple times so every assignment or exam is very clear on what is expected. She does a good job relating to her students and class was always fun to go to. She really knows her material well and uses an easy to follow course pack in her class that you can use on exams! Take her! :)

Dr. Egan is pretty easygoing and nice. Public speaking can be nerve-racking, but she makes the experience as non-threatening as possible. We had to give 8 different types of formal speeches and 3 impromptu speeches. We also had a final exam at the end of the semester.

Overall a pretty easy class. You have 4 assignments, 2 individual and 2 group, and 3 online exams. She comes off as really nice, but she makes rude commments in class and is not friendly to talk to 1 on 1. Class discussions are pretty interesting and its a fairly easy A.

Extremely easy class, just 4 assignments (2 group 2 individual) and 3 exams that are all online. Directions for her assignments are spelled out and very clear which is nice. Definitely an easy A, not too time-consuming. She's really cool in class but 1-on-1 she's not as easy to talk to. But very helpful

Great teacher! I hate general cmat and she made it fun and interesting. Lectures are a lot of group discussion and tests are easy if you take notes. Great class!

Dr. Egan, takes attendance. She is a very nice teacher and grades speeches fairly easy, but does NOT round. I got an 89 in her course and she wouldn't round it to an A. She requires attendance and will decrease your grade if you miss more than two classes.
