He was my first professor, I took him as a high school student for dual enrollment and I couldn't have had a better experience! He's very passionate about what he does and he made class interesting for me. I will definitely be taking more philosophy classes at my college because of him.

If you've taken intro to proof and/or discrete structures, this class should be pretty easy. It was so easy I did homework during class on my laptop.

Most of grade based on short writing assignments on readings of your choosing & exams that are half essay, half multiple choice. As long as you keep up with doing the reading, course is easy, engaging & fun. Readings on D2L; no textbook. Class is discussion based - small participation grade. No presentations or group projects. Great P Course!

Dr. Ward is nice but his lectures are the most long and boring things ever. He takes attendance so you basically just sit their on your phone or laptop the whole time to get past how bored you are. His class is purely discussion based; there isn't much to take notes on. He will explain concepts during office hours, but in a very confusing way.

I absolutely love Dr. Ward, I take his classes whenever I can. If you have an understanding of the material, engage in class discussions, and submit your assignments on time and with quality work, you will likely get an A. We get along well because I love Philosophy of Science, and he has a background in organic chemistry.

Very nice and funny guy. Very passionate about philosophy and doesn't make class to difficult. If you are not a fan of philosophy I would advise against this class bc it can get confusing and boring.

I took 3 classes with Ward. I enjoyed them & the work was pretty easy but still made you learn. He is very helpful & available! Can get boring at times & got an attitude sometimes too, but overall I really like him as a professor- he is very understanding and gets to know his students. I decided to minor in phil because of him.

Logic was a tricky class but you learned a lot and the tests were pretty straight forward although difficult. The homework was pretty routine and has a neat grading system, although you have to buy the textbook brand new in order to use the software.
