At first I thought that she was funny and quirky in a good way. Now, I think that she is very strange and almost rude at times. Her weekly quizzes are very annoying and all we ever do in class is go through a workbook. No interesting or innovative teaching techniques are used - one of the worst JMU Psyc professors I've had. Take someone else!

Comment:
Little work outside class, a take home quiz on one chapter every week, and then a quiz in class. She is a great professor and counselor, but she is very into "feeling" so you have to let go of inhibitions in this class and open yourself up to criticism. Self improvement project, 10 minute presentation, and take home exam for final. Must participate

Class is very easy with little work. Most difficult part of the class is that she challenges people to role play, which tends to lead to uncomfortable situations in the classroom. Learn little in the class, but by doing the readings for the class, you learn quite a bit about counseling. Liked it.
