Super boring lectures and always off topic. Sends 30-page readings through email, which is the only content you learn from. Four 10-question multiple choice quizzes worth 10% each, research paper and presentation. Takes a long time to mark and extremely hard to contact outside of class.

He was an okay prof if you are looking to boost your GPA. He is not good at teaching, gets distracted really easily and talks about things that are not even related. We had 3 take home tests which were basically 2 written questions each and answer them in a essay format. His marking is a bit tough and he wont mark anything on time.

if you're looking for an easy A take this class. each class I've had with him, I show up to Half and still manage to ace it. however, I didnt really learn much. everything is so vague and disorganized.

Participate in the discussions and you can easily get an A+. Tests are easy, but marks a bit difficult on the paper, presentation and participation. Easy A.

Claudio can be really nice one-on-one and he does try to crack jokes during lectures. But there are no PowerPoints or structure to his class. He changes due dates often, as well as how much assignments may be worth and doesn't give clear criteria on what he expects.

NO TEXTBOOK USED, ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT CURRENT EVENTS SO IT WAS EASY TO TALK AND UNDERSTAND TOPICS IN CLASS. LEAVES THE TERM PAPER UP TO YOU SO YOU MAY WRITE IT WITH A TOPIC YOU LIKE. TESTS ARE TAKE HOME AND ARE REFLECTIVE TO THE SMALL READINGS YOU DO. DOES TALK A LOT AND GOES OFF TOPIC BUT EASY GOING CLASS

Ahh Claudio Vidal, Either you love him or hate him. No powerpoints or final exams. Be prepared to do a presentation, 2-3 take home tests (paragraphs) and a essay. He does tend to ramble about things and will sometimes leave you scratching your head. But overall he makes you think from a different perspective.

Awesome prof!!! Loved every minute of the class, no textbooks and no final exams. (sit near the front, participation matters and he can be a bit hard to hear). He is incredibly interesting!!

Claudio is so sweet, and absolutely hilarious. He tends to go off topic a lot but somehow manages to relate it to the class discussion. BY FAR the EASIEST class i've ever taken. No strict structure, omits tests and assignments if you give a good reason. The tests are incredibly simple, and he is an easy marker. Definitely would take again.

Claudio is such a funny guy, I love his character, and his laugh is simply the most adorable thing I've ever heard. This course was an elective for me, but I would take him again only because his teaching style is easy and considerate towards his students. He shares some experiences he has been through that really opens your eyes about his person.

He's a nice guy and is accessible outside of class however takes a long time to reply to emails. His lectures are lengthy and boring, so bring something to keep you busy or you'll fall asleep. He gives no notes or powerpoints. Just participate and do the 2 main assignments. No final exam but there are 4 multiple choice tests throughout the sem.

Claudio is a very nice guy. Super easy course. Not a typical class format. No Power points or notes. He does ramble a lot. Can get a good mark in this class if you do good on the paper and presentation.

If you're a shy person that isn't comfortable speaking in public then don't take his class. Don't waste his time and don't waste your time. Claudio is an amazing teacher that really welcomes participation. He makes you do a 10 min presentation so you can get comfortable with speaking in public. Again, dont take his class if you get scared to speak.

He does not respond to emails and its really frustrating because when he says he'll post something on Moodle, he always forgets or it's late. He forgets to hand back some of his students take home tests and he posts final grades late. Don't bother taking this class if you want to learn. One 10 min presentation, 4 quizzes, research paper, no final.

Easy marker. He expected talking with every individual. He was not good at Moodle. He said he would post readings, but he forgot every week. So, 2 assignments were eliminated finally. No final exam. So, see what would you want?

Bad lectures - can you even call them that? No handouts or powerpoints, just random discussions on nothing in particular. Look, if you want an easy A with a grandad who doesn't give a flip, will give you extensions etc, yes take him. If you want to actually learn, get outta here. (then again, who actually wants to learn amirite)

Claudio's class was amazing! He is SO kind and understanding. He is always ready to listen to what you have to say. There were 4 tests worth 10% each (only 10 questions and gives a booklet w potential questions a week before) a paper worth 30%, a 10 min presentation on whatever you want and participation :) Would deffs take him again.

Claudio is one of the best profs I've ever had. His lectures are lengthy but he talks about the most interesting things. There's a research paper worth 30% of your grade and he wants everyone to do well. Take advantage of his office hours and he will help you. He forced me to think outside of just this course which was awesome. Would take him again
