Poli is a great professor and I think people don't see that because they can't get past all of the work he assigns. He does it to help you learn and to make you work. It's college and its engineering; you have to do work. So if you're not lazy and you put in effort, you'll do fine. He's always there to help.

This guy is a tough teacher. He expects a lot from everyone, but he should because this is college and classes are supposed to be hard. He helps you if you ask, and grills you if you aren't paying attention. If you do the homework and show up to class prepared all the time, you'll do fine. He is in no way, a sub-par teacher.

He's always friendly and helpful when I see him in his office. likes to pick on 113 freshmen. He's been great for dynamics, it's actually my most entertaining class. tough grader, but usually reasonable. knows how to teach a class, which is more than I can say for a lot of younger profs I've had...

Most of the class is a trail and error thing. He doesnt tell you want he wants but he tells you when its wrong. everythign you do you do it a few times so in the end you get it right. grades get scaled so dont worry about it too much.

I think the guy should get some slack. He teaches very high level courses, but for this one it was quite difficult becasue of the material. I think it's hard for older professors to teach, so that factors in a bit. Overall the class really was not too bad
