Great person, but average professor at best. His lectures are extremely boring; he spends most of the time reading off the slides or just talking, disregarding slides completely. Wording on exams is horrible; he takes forever to answer emails.

He does not care about students. He gave us puts that consists of 100+ slides AND he reads off the powerpoint without a clear explanation of the concepts. The avg. exam scores was always 65-69.. that should say something. i honestly hope next semester and future semesters, he puts in the effort and give students the education they PAID FOR.

the class is hard. The exams are hard since you don't really know what he is asking for. The past exams are useful.

He is the worst teacher every. His lecture slides are way to long and they dont even make sense. I memorized all his slides and I still did bad on his exams. He is a really nice guy but he sucks at teaching and his exams are way to hard. I would recommend not taking him. Try to take the class at community college its way better and easier.

Ugh. This class is awful. You can know the material like the back of your hand and still get low scores because his question are worded weird. 1/2 the class fails so it's not even about trying to learn its about trying to pass. I'd rather shoot my self in the foot than take this class again. I did extremely well in lab but barely passed the course

This was the hardest science course I had ever taken. The exams are EXTREMELY hard and confusing at times. The material is not hard to understand, in fact, it's very simple but the questions on the exam are just confusing as to what it wants. He stated that he would curve based on the average scores but that statement turned out to be false. :(

Took over summer. Entertaining professor. He is generally clear, wanting you to know the Powerpoint figures, and read in detail in the book. Labs can be tedious, but seminar helps clear things up. He is open to questions, and very nice. He knows it's a hard class, and encourages you everyday.

Extremely smart guy. Talks about complex topics as if they're common sense and the whole world knows about these things just "INTUITIVELY". Super fun to listen to and learn from. I can do a killer impression of him because his mannerisms are so distinct lol he's just the best, and I learned so much from him. Fun class if you like science

Really hard class. Full of pre-nursing students. Sneary is serious when he says you shouldn't be taking other classes. Expect to study until you have no life. Overall, really rewarding if you do put the time and energy in. Don't just take this class because you think you might be interested. You'll cry. I had to take it and I almost cried.

This class is tough...no other way to say it. The amount and depth of information covered in 6 weeks is mind numbing. If you have to take this class - do not take other classes at the same time and try to minimize hours at work. Good luck!

Neuro should not be taught online, let alone in 6 weeks. The notes has several errors, diagrams are too small, the teacher does not respond to emails in a timely manner, and when you get your scores you do not know where you went wrong and he doesn't discuss them. I may have gotten an A because the curve seems pretty low, but this was plain bad.

The class is very hard, not just because it's 5 units. You literally need to work your ass off and study really hard, at least 3-4 hours a day. I recommend taking Dr. Sneary during the summer as opposed to Cargill, that way you can focus more on the class and you will be able to take good notes. Buy a recorder and relisten to the lectures.

i took this class awhile back and passed with a C. this class is known as the "weeders class" or gauntlet class. i read and went to every lecture and it was difficult for me. i took it over the summer to make matters worst. all in all you have to do a lot of studying 3-4 hours a day to do well. just sitting in class and taking great notes wont pass

a lot of info (know the material well). Don't read (cuz it's more info than u need to know) I suggest recording his lecs and making sure you know it thoroughly. All i did was listen to the lectures and look at the figures and i got an A. Labs are easy and unnecessary, because he covers what's gonna b on the lab tests during seminar. Taken summer10'

Very challenging class. Don't expect an easy A. I've got straight A's in all of my classes. The key to this one is to use his slides to read related material in the text. I recorded the lectures because he speaks very quickly, but I never had time to listen to them. Use your slides and only the related text to memorize!

The book you have to get is incredibly intimidating, but Dr. Sneary does a good job of filtering through it and focusing on the big points. If you do not have a voice recorder, BUY ONE... and use it every class. This class is MUCH easier when you can go back and hear his lectures after hearing them once before. Good luck :)

He is friendly and does answer questions often. The course of course is hard, but it is not his fault. He grades fair and gives opportuities to get points back on tests. He makes the atmosphere more welcoming sometimes. I may not get an A, but I have learned something.

you really have to work for an A in this class. there practically was no curve in this class. he covers a LOT of material in each lecture so definitely record or take notes on a laptop during lecture. he's very helpful during OH and a nice person overall. the material is interesting plus he always has little anecdotes that make it more interesting.

Just like everyone else says, it is a very difficult class. I took it in the summer and was able to get an A. It was no easy A though. You have to dedicate most of your time to this class and he isn't kidding when he says you shouldn't be taking any other classes during summer except his. Make use of his office hours & practice exams! good luck

The hardest course I've ever taken. I took 3 classes at summer and managed to get a B+ in this class. The point is that how you use your time well. You need time to read EVERY PAGE from each chapter and REALLY UNDERSTAND the materials. Difficult, but very challenging!
