He is really into what he teaches and VERY approachable and helpful/patient...he's really knowledgeable and funny...He is a fair marker and you can tell he really wants to you do well...Also, he is really respectful of what you contribute to class...I had a great semester in his class..

Excellent Proff! explains complicated theories with ease and is a fair marker. Gordons class was the only one I actually attended consistantly and looked foward to!! Dont be intimidated by his course outlines, his courses are fantastic and you will learn so much.

Hard marker, but a good prof. Great course material. He seemed addled at times, but really helped to clarify the material. Provided lots of feedback on essays. One irritant: he always described student work as "great" or "really good" so it ceased to mean anything.

Dr. Gordon is fantastic. No doubt about it. It was a priviledge to hear his lectures. I wished the class was smaller so he could have more effectively marked the essays. He is an incredible lecturer. Following his mind is a pleasure and subtly leads one to many new enlightening ideas about the text.
