Easily one of the best classes of taken. And a none-too-difficult class either, what with assignments being nothing but 2 page essays every other week. Plus, he let us decide how much we would have to do on our midterm and exam. Absolutely the best 100-level course I've taken. Plus, he reminds me of Dr. Wilson from House. You'll see why.

Very nice and helpful prof, but WHO SAID HE WAS EASY? The midterm and final consisted of memorizing dates after dates and unless you know your material solid, the exams are very tricky. His essay questions on the final killed! Easy to do decently but hard to excel in this class. Also very heavy reading every week.

Very enthustiastic about the material. Gets to know all the students in the class by name. He teaches for fun. Very intelligent man. Tests are very fair and the class was really enjoyable, heavy reading though, but no worries it's all stories.

Really fun class! Very enthusiastic. Lots of reading....but its just stories! Marks essays fairly easily. Even provides ways to get some bonus marks. Some really obscure things appear on midterms though..know your quotes!

This was the easiest course I've taken at SFU. I really liked Chris but honestly a professor wasn't really needed. Lectures primarily consisted of going over homework.

Definitely the best prof to teach this course! I thought my Latin prof would be some monotone guy that would put me to sleep but this prof is so enthusiastic about what he's teaching and he wants to make it enjoyable for everyone.

Hilarious prof. He totally loves what he's teaching and it makes him easy to listen to and actually kind of enjoyable. Only class i've ever had where i actually want to be in the lecture hall. Lots of reading however, but who doesn't like storytime :)
