Terrible. She relies too heavily on Fiero and doesn't promote discussion. I dreaded coming to class and listening to her rant on issues she doesn't know about. Don't take her if you can help it.

Reading quizzes every week. She lectures during classes most of the time so there isn't much motivation to be prepared. She doesn't know how to facilitate good class discussions. She is knowledgable in Humanities 214 material. She helped put together the Asheville Reader for this level!

wow...terrible teacher. She rants, raves and yet makes no sense at all. BUT- if you want to waste your time doing stupid projects, which even she doesn't take seriously, enjoy her class.

Dr. Ho is just completely ridiculous. Her reading quizzes are impossible, she asks the most irrelevant and unimportant details that no one can remember, even if you read every week. Her classes are so boring & she fills up time with pointless, elementary activities. She's overall a horrible professor. I didn't learn a thing. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

If you want an easy humanities class, go for this one. The reading quizzes are hard, but the assorted projects, tests and papers were incredibly easy. Classroom discussions had an elementary vibe, what with all the worthless little presentations and in-class projects she had us do. Very easy, but i wouldn't recommend her if you want to learn.

She's boring. She doesn't know how to engage the class. She assigns ridiculous amounts of reading and grades papers way too hard for such low level courses. She'll call you down for yawning or getting up to use the bathroom.

the woman is freaking nuts. she will tell you things arent due, then grade you late when you dont have it. she does impossible reading quizzes (never made an A on one and i read EVERY week). grades excessively hard. so NO to lit professor for humanities classes. oh and she hates guys...i mean grades them way worse.
