He makes it sound worse than it really is. Just read your assignments and go to class. He gives quizzes almost everday. But they really help your grade. THe class is boring, but stick it out. I had an A in the class very easily.

I got a C in this class but i didnt hate Van Kley at all. He is very pessimistic about his class and not very encouraging. He makes things sound very difficult when they dont need to be and i had a quiz almost every day so attendance was very important

This is the worst teacher I have ever had at Auburn. He is unbelievably boring and he makes the class so much harder than it needs to be. Ton of reading and hard quizzes and is hard on grading. His class it absolutely terrible and he is even worse.
