Comment:

He has a disability so it's hard to understand him at times. But so are half of the CS program lectures because English is a second language. Deal with it. He is one of the most passionate profs I've ever met. Ask him anything about lecture material and he's happy to help. As to his humour, it's dry and sarcastic -- I love it!

He's a nice guy, but can't teach. It is very hard to understand him because of his disability. His slides are way too dry. It's impossible to stay awake in class. On top of it all, the project was simply a waste of time and paper.

I guess these ratings are sort of right, but they shouldn't prevent you from taking the course... it's not really that bad and anyone can get through it because he has good slides that he puts up online. Once you get the hang of it, his lectures can be quite entertaining too.

Funny guy. Made what should have been a really boring course mildly amusing. The material is realyl dry. And the marking on the SRS's is highly variable depending on your client(TA). Takes a while to get used to his speach, but I had no problems after a few classes.

He has hearing problem, thats why he can't speak. I show sympathy for him, but I dont think he should be teaching by any mean. Only about 10 out of 100 ppl in class actually attended his lecture. Enough said.

It was a mistake to take CS 445. Every reasonable person I know has dopped it before the middterm. Course is about nothing, just waste of time. The prof is terrible. TA's are ignorant. Avoid this course and this prof!!!
