Comment:
Loved Dara's class. The class was super engaging and she gave great feedback. She was also a good marker who looked at the content rather than criticized the format of how you wrote your assignments. She definitely enjoyed what was she teaching. The class was a 4 hour lecture in sort of a tutorial format. Highly recommend. I would take again

Dara is amazing! She is extremely approachable inside and outside of class. She creates a great atmosphere with her classroom. She managed to get everyone engaged even though it was an 8:30am class. Lots of reading, but if you can keep up her classes are very interesting. I definitely recommend her!

LOVED this class! DO your course readings if you want to do well! My final project was so "out of the box" but she was encouraging nonetheless. Never be afraid to e-mail her, ask her questions or come to her with concerns. She always pushes students to do their best with excellent results! I would take a class with her again.

If you are the type who does not read the course readings, STAY AWAY. Midterm paper was EXTREMELY reliant on the course readings so be warned! She is accessible for help but she talks very quietly. Her expectations for assignments are often ambiguous and she often sends out class emails to clarify what she meant to communicate in class.

Smart & approachable. Although there may be a somewhat heavy reading load & lots of writing, she marks fairly if you work hard. She also loves creativity & critical thinking. Her great sense of humour & videos also help create a fun class. A bit of a background and/or interest in the topic also help

lots of reading, whole grade is based on written assignments (which take a lot of time!), sometimes unhelpful with certain concepts that articles didn't adequately address (but she thinks they did, i guess)
