DC is challenging but in such a way that you really feel you have accomplished something when you leave his class. I was scared to take him from all of the stories I'd heard but I think they just came from people who aren't willing to work hard. Now I wish I'd taken more classes with him. (And by the way, I'm white and that was never even an issue)

Definitely challenging...but if you are a grad student, that is what you want. Don't get in here looking for easiness AT ALL, but if you are serious about furthering your studies, this is definitely a professor you want. After him, others seem like cake, and the challenge is food for you.

He is a pompous intelligent litigator of facts. He is not very approachable. Acts as though he is the smartest man alive. He is smart, however. Grades hard and somewhat unfair. Favors grad students. STAY AWAY!!!!!! He is also the Dir. of Undergrad Studies.
