Great teacher! I almost failed chemistry in high school and I hated the subject. Heidt's class taught me to appreciate chemistry, and I also aced the class. Really knows his stuff, uses class time well, and shares random stories about practical applications of chemistry. One thing I would recommend is if he holds a pre-test study session, go to it!

Dave Heidt is smarter and infinitely better at teaching than every single top engineering school doctoral professor I've had. He taught me structural analysis, chem 1 & 2, physics 1 & 2, multidisciplinary design, and engineering statics. Cannot recommend him enough. The man is a literal genius, as well as a kind and caring individual.
