I really love this teacher's enthusiasm! He's a great resource if you ask questions and his relationships with other professors in the department can open a lot of doors.

Don't take anything with this teacher. I had him for ENG200 which is supposed to be an intro to literature class, but rather than opening up discussions on the material for students he simply told us all of his opinions on what we read. Anyone who didn't agree with him was wrong and all of our essays had to cater to his every whim.

I had him in Criminal Literature and it was a blast.I wound up getting involved with the Naked Truth magazine because of him, and I'm taking his creative writing class next semester. He's a funny charismatic guy and I recommend taking a class with him.

Had him for creative writing he loves to hear himself talk and thinks your story is crap unless it's one of his ideas.

Have him for Intro to Poetry, he is very hard to understand and the classes seem to drag on for hours. Homework is not that hard, there is almost zero creativity in the class. Stay away from if you can.

Hes wicked smart and opinionated. sometimes its little hard to get where he is coming from. He care a lot about his students and will try to help you out as much as he can. I have no idea why he is at NEiA.

Really interesting fellow! Clearly genuinely loves his subject and makes it very interesting and accessible to students, even those who are only taking his class because it's required. He's really helpful with assignments and seems like an all around awesome dude.

Wow. Very interesting fellow. At first I really "dug" him, but then as I started turning in my work, I got annoyed how he would want me to change certain words that I picked for a reason. He didn't agree with my reasons--annoying. Also, he assigns a lot of homework, you have to keep journals, etc.

one of the school smartest teachers, a little out there but very smart. he's too opinionated though, i say this because when you read poetry there are a million and one ways to percieve it, but he only thinks his way is right. opinion papers turn into blair's opinion so you can get a good grade

Good guy. Well read (an understatement, he will school you on esoteric knowledge). Genuinely cares for his students, and is very intellectually stimulating with regards to his subject matter. Probably overqualified for his position, and belongs at a more esteemed university.

David is an enthusiastic and energetic professor. It's obvious that he enjoys teaching. That having been said, his academic standards are extremely high and the work he assigns (which is considerable) requires an extraordinary amount of thought and effort. You will not brease through his class. I've never worked so hard for a B+ in my life.

Blair is a well-known poet with connections in his industry. He's one of the wackiest, most interesting people I've met in a while, and he has a huge amount of knowledge and talent to share with his students.
