Dr. Conradt is a nice guy and definitely knows what he's talking about. You MUST read the textbooks and come to every class. Almost every class I came to we had a quiz, if you don't come you will fail. About 10 people dropped this course after the first couple weeks. Only has two tests but many quizzes, and the quizzes count more than the tests

Ignorant and intolerant of other views. He is rude when students don't understand him, which is often because he doesn't explain himself well. Book quizzes are easy and so are New York Times quizzes. Tests are tough and papers are just rewriting his lecture. Honestly the class isn't hard just putting up with him is.

If you pay attention and take notes you will learn a lot from Dr. Condradt. Respectfully, he is one of the best political science teachers at ECU. If you don't take notes, dont read your book, and skip class, don't expect a good grade. His papers and test are tough. Pay close attention to the material and you be glad you did and You'll learn alot.

Dr. Conradt is a tough professor but he is one of the best at ECU. He can sometimes be a bit broad on essays and a tough grader but if you go to class, are willing to learn, and put the effort in the satisfaction of getting a good grade in this class is worth it. Too bad he is retiring this year, one of my favorite professors so far.

Do not take a class with this man. He is really tough and loves to be feared by students. He makes very anti republican remarks and has no love towards grading. He does not give partial credit. You could get 90% of the problem right but mess one little thing up and get the whole thing wrong. He is discouraging and doesn't prepare you for quizzes

Dr. Conradt is one of the BEST professors in the Political Science Department. He is not a professor that will just hand out a good grade, however if you come to class prepared to learn, you will do great In his class. Also, you will learn so much from him! Definitely recommend Dr. Conradt!!

Hard to comprehend sometimes but was very helpful. He would highlight the things that would be on the tests and quizzes and gave you extra credit just for good attendance! Not my favorite class but I did enjoy his witty sense of humor!

Dr. Conradt is an incredibly smart professor, but he does have some quirks. 1) Attend his class! THose who attend will get extra credit that will help you in the long run. 2) He's liberal. This was no problem for me, but others may get tired of republican bashing. I recommend him as classes with him are never boring.

Going into this class I thought it was going to be horrible but I ended up with a pretty good grade. All you have to do is come to class every day and you will get stars that REALLY boost your grade. Make sure you read the assigned text, read for quizzes, and you can bring your laptop to class so taking notes aren't that hard.

Before taking this class, I had heard Dr. Conradt was horrible, but he actually isn't bad. If you wan't to do nothing in class and still get an A, don't take him. You have to attend class if you want the stars which will save your grade. And papers and texts are straight from class notes.

I loved Dr. Conradt's class. He is REALLY knowledgable about comparative politics. His test questions come straight from the notes. Quizzes are a combination of notes & reading. I'll definitely take him again.

Conradt is awesome his class is not as hard as it may seem! He is a very easy grader and just wants to spread knowledge and although he is very liberal it's all in good fun, always have some good laughs in his class as well as learn a lot!

I am mostly liberal so I thought I would like Dr.Conradt... boy was I wrong. Initially liked him, but every single day in class he goes off on rants about his experiences which are not important. Also his handwriting is illegible.. looks like Arabic. His teaching is unorganized so of course your notes will be too = bad grades on exams and papers.

Dr. Conradt is an interesting man. He is very funny and can take a joke, but sometime I think he is too knowledgable for his own good. The class is not too hard as long as you study for the tests really well and pay attention to what he says in class! If youre a strong republican youre warned

By far the best teacher at ECU. The university should feel blessed to have his expertise. His classes do require work and for you have to really study for them. I have take his POLS 2020 and POLS 3232 and I plan on taking him again. If you want to become educated in politics I recommend you take one of his classes.

Dr. Conradt is an awesome teacher! I loved his class. He's funny and really knows what he's talking about. Listen to him! Take good notes, do the reading, and mention Germany in all your essays/papers, and you'll do fine! Quoting him in your essays/papers is a good idea, too. All in all, LOVED this class! :)
