Dr. Frantz is the best teacher I have ever had. He is incredibly worldly and knowledgeable. Dr. Franz is super busy because of how important he is at OSU, but if you go during office hours or make an appointment, he will always do everything he can to help you out. He truly cares about students, the university and education.

Professor Frantz is one of the best professors I've ever had. He demands his class to be hard workers and critical thinkers and concise writers. It's not an easy A, but it is possible. When I struggled in the class, he made the time to help me out and walk me through the course. His comments on the papers are well detailed, sometimes polemic.

He is so passionate about Shakespeare that his lectures were more like a pleasant choice rather than an obligation--a very wonderful teacher! Class consisted of 3 short papers and a final paper--nothing too difficult as long as you come up with a decent argument. Wonderful!!
