Great Prof for internal auditing. I am very surprised by the negative comments. He makes the class time fly by. Interesting stories. Gives semester assignments in the beg. w/ the due date. After taking his class, I am going to pursue an career in auditing. Take this class accounting majors!

Professor Hancox is a great auditing speaker and teacher. He takes the real world and implements it into the class. Which will help you significantly when you graduate. I recommend this class for all accounting students. (fall 2008 night student)

Great Course. Professor Hancox teaches this class similar to a Graduate Level course where the responsibility is on the student. This class allows the student to sharpen their skills of Accounting, Auditing, Researching, Writing, and Public Speaking to prepare students for real world situations and work experiences.

Arrogant as hell. unclear in the assignments. makes the class out to be a joke and easy, then screws you in the end. I would definitely rather take a class where you know your grades and the syallabus is more rigid than bet on this guy and what kind of mood he is going to be in that day.... overall, i would not recommend.

Easy course but if you aren't going to be a state worker I would not reccomend it. This guy is a CPA basher and likes himself way to much. Makes working for the state sound like the be all and end all. In addition you learn absolutely nothing. But it is easy so if thats what you want take it

If you want to learn how to waste you existence working for the State, he'll tell you all about it. If you want to learn something useful, move on. This is nothing more than a bad public speaking course that teaches nothing about accounting or audit.
