His lectures were a bit dry, but he always threw in a bit of humour when he could. 2 midterms and a final, gave all the possible questions for the exams in advance. Fair grader. If you prepare your answers in advance, you'll do fine. Nice man, would take his class again. Very knowledgeable about the material.

What a wonderful man. I took his online course and his lectures are so clear, and he tells you everything he expects for his 3(!!!!) tests. The final exam is just like his first and second tests, and they're not hard so long as you read his lectures and the book prescribed. If you email him, he responds quickly and is always able to help.

Dr Hawkin can be a bit boring to listen to, but usually his classes are pretty interesting, and he only gives two tests and a final, and all the questions are told to you beforehand, along with the answers he expects. Easy to learn and easy to do well. He's also a great guy in general and helpful if you need it. He also has no req textbooks!

LOVED Dr. Hawkin!Extremely well organized, makes great use of the D2L site, very understanding man,class is interesting, definitely take this class with him! 2 multiple choice tests and a final. The final has 2 essay questions that he gives you beforehand and some multiple choice questions. Not a hard course at all!

Dr. Hawkin really was a sweet man and he has a funny sense of humor. The course content is a bit dry, but if you're thinking about taking it.. definitely take it with him! The final was very fair.. based mostly on things since the last midterm, plus two essays questions which he gave us beforehand.

Dr.Hawkin is one of the truly nicest people I've met on campus. Also, he is possibly one of the funniest, as his sense of humour alone makes this course a must take. The course is incredibly well organized, and he is a great marker of tests as well. I can't recommend this course with Dr.Hawkin enough!

A very witty & extremely nice British professor. I enjoy his class & learnt a lot even though I already know the New Testament pretty well. His tests are not hard but you do have to memorise quite a lot. The weightage of each test is also quite scary (25%) but he's a fair marker.

Hardly interacted with this prof at all but when I did have questions he responded very quickly and gave good clear answers. His tests aren't bad and he's a good marker - just keep up with the material and know your stuff. If you don't understand something ask him, he's more than willing to help!

Easy course. Kinda boring lectures. Had to force myself to sit through them sometimes. Test are really fair. Sweet man, he just needs to change his voice tones from time to time instead of keeping the same pitch and tone all the time that makes you wanna go to sleep.
