Dr. Hibler is easily the worst teacher I have ever had. He has not followed the syllabus. He will not let you take notes on your computer in a COMPUTER SCIENCE class. He tries to teach you things that are not being taught in other sessions of the same class (Quantum computing...?). He paces, stares at the ceiling and rambles. No thank you, CNU.

Hibler is honestly really boring. Astronomy is such an interesting topic and he manages to make it so unlikeable. He usually just walks around in front of the class using a power point, rambling about random facts clicking too fast so you can't copy anything form the slides. Test and quizzes aren't too hard if you read..just be prepared to catch a

HIBLER IS HARD!! He is a great guy & really knows his stuff but he is quite possibly one of the most boring professors alive. He reads straight from the book & paces back and forth around the class staring at the ceiling and doesn't even acknowledge the existence of the class. If you actually read you should be able to get a B..but don't count on i

Hibler is a genius. The man has two doctorates in physics and he knows what he is talking about. But... I got a B in his class through hard work... you need to to come prepared (read!) to be able to undertand his lectures. Astronomy is an interesting and challenging subject. A hard working student can receive a good grade.

Class was over all easy but it may put you to sleep if you?re not careful. You will not get any project grades back for at least eight weeks. Apparently invisible lecture notes are on the ceiling because he keeps looking at it. Grades not on correctness of a project but the amount of effort.

hibler is brilliant, brilliant and boring. he knows what hes talking about, but i dread going to class. lets you out early almost every class, labs are super easy. tests are hard, but he weights things and curves things to help. class should be an easy A or B.

Needs to stop looking at the ceiling and actually teach. VERY boring and hard to learn from. Worst professor I've ever had and does not relate to students at all.

His lectures are boring, the pace is too slow, and hard to pay attention to. His projects are ridiculously ambiguous and you have to design it yourself. When he does get around to grading them, you don't get them back, only a number grade without feedback. If you can avoid this professor, I would try.

I found his classes to be many times better than others at this school, but the whole "genius" thing is a little far fetched. He is great at lecturing and being personable in front of alot of people. He can get moody when nobodys watching.

He's a freaking computing GENIUS! I really owe him for helping me learn AI in way I never could before I took his class. Tests come straight from the review sheet. But, yeah, he's a little dry in lecture. But his intelligence more than compensates for that. Plus, he's just plain nice, which goes a long way.
