David was a tough marker but overall his assignments and class was very organized which is why I liked him as a teacher. He makes lectures very engaging and makes you want to attend class!!!! I failed 2 of my other courses and got a B in this class. He was one of my first profs as a first year student and I would highly recommend!

Comment:

Avoid this class along with this prof AT ALL COSTS. Classes are very boring and dull. Though he is a nice guy, he can be very judgmental and he expects way too much for his students. Class average for midterm was 56%. It's a GPA dropper. Such an easy class but a horrible teacher.

At first impression David seems like a very arrogant man, but he's actually a sweet person. He's a strict marker and is unclear with instructions, but gives plenty of resources on the course website. The class itself is quite boring. He talks for a really long time and sometimes he makes jokes. Make sure to pay attention to grammar and format!

extremely knowledgeable teacher but expects too much from students. boring, unclear, specifically uses his model and expects students to use his model only in his class, which is not of proper use as its not been used everywhere. wants students to be perfect, hard marker, AVOID this teacher as he will make your GPA to fall down.

he comes across as being very stubborn, borderline obnoxious and loves to hear the sound of his own voice. Unclear in what he actually WANTS from his students, but has no problem saying what he doesn't want. I found this course to be a headache, we're only at midterms and no one in the class got more than 60 percent, just ridiculous

He is the toughest and stubborn man to deal with.Horrible teacher you will ever find. He finds his happiness in taking away your grades, and that way he is the happiest man on earth because he prefers to give zero. Your Academic grades will suffer.

One of the few teachers that actually seems passionate and knowledgeable of his field. Really wants his students to do well, has a very fair policy regarding late assignments, fun to listen to, class just breezes by. Definitely recommend.

Is University easy? No. Good grades come with hard work. I attended every class, followed his precise instructions and guidelines, and received an A in his course. He is short and to the point, there is no confusion in his class. He also chooses to not use a textbook which saves you money. Dave is an awesome professor, I highly recommend him.

For a professional communications instructor who values concise, clear communication, David is awfully wordy and doesn't often follow what he values. That being said, he very nice and amusing. Great teacher! I actually learnt a lot of valuable information. His projects, while there are many, are good practise for the real world. I highly recommend this class, with a cup of coffee to keep you awake! Its a little dry, but nonetheless very informative!

For someone who preaches clarity in professional communications, Ingre is not very clear about what he expects. He does long drawn out explanations about things that don't matter but then he doesn't explain clearly enough what he expects for our projects. Avoid if possible.

Amazing teacher! He only teaches what you really need to know, no filler. His assignments are easy if you pay attention, and he gives you an extra week to finish them. He's not a hard marker, he lets you know what you did wrong so you don?t make the same mistake again. His class will totally prepare you for the rest of University.

Dave is intelligent. He may talk on and on while lecturing, he does have relevance in his stories. Only thing I wish he would do, for all future use, front load his instructions. I rather not what he wants first followed by an example, instead of instruction, example, instruction, example and so on. He preaches brevity, but does not practice it.
