You didn't need to show up, and didn't need to read the text. You could get everything you needed from downloading the slides at home and blasting through them in 25 minutes (which wasn't much shorter than his classes mind you). He grades a little tough, but the classes were fun, and he did have some unique study ideas. Group work was plentiful.

Classes are very very boring, he just reads off the stuff from the powerpoint. No point attending the class because you dont learn anything. Hard exams and quizes. AVOID if you have an option.

He's a really nice teacher, I'm taking class with him right now and liking it. and I dont know what others are saying hes not clear, everytime I ask him for help he is very clear about what he wants and marks the assignments according to what he said he wanted. I learned a lot so far, it's straight-forward material. He's a fair marker too !

HORRIBLE teacher. Reads right off slides that he prepares right before class, unclear in assignments, and very demeaning when answering questions and giving feedback. I have not learned anything that I didn't already know prior to this class, lectures are very boring.

This class turned out to be a lot tougher than I thought it would be. Robert is a good guy, he has a quirky sense of humour which I enjoyed. He is a TOUGH marker, though. He has very high expectations for the level of work he expects you to put into assignments. It's hard to know what he wants for assignments sometimes, so if in doubt, do more.

My advice: get in a good group. You are golden if you do. Class was boring, Didn't learn a thing. The assignments and final are easy, and if you get in a good group for your case & project, then I can assure you no worse than a B. Really, really nice/funny guy.

WORST PROF EVER. Doesnt teach a thing. Reads directly off of powerpoints, doesnt explain anything. Don't bother wasting money on the book, didnt use mine even once. Midterms and final are horrible 50-60 MC and 12 short answer. Instructions on assignments are unclear. Don't know how this guy got the job at kwantlen, would not recommend taking

He's a good professor because his course familiarizes you with the role of technology in business and why it's important. Prior to his class I didn't understand the the value of IT in business but now I understand the fundamental purpose of it. In my opinion te pressure isn't as extreme as other classes which is a good enviroment to really learn.

Wood can be monotone while teaching, but teaches relevant stuff. It's not a difficult class, nor does he try to make it hard. His instructions are not always clear, but his criteria for grading is good. Just remember, when you present something you better know it or he'll ask you some hard questions.

This instructor is very kind, helpful and dedicated to his students. Most students are doing their own stuff i.e. facebook, he does not mind, he says they're grown up and know their responsibilities and goes on teaching. Felt sorry for him at times because he puts in time and effort for students that are chatting with mates on facebook. I loved him

Horrible teacher! I have two weeks of class left and he just changed our class make up. Super unclear and doesn't even try to make things interesting. He was late for every class and was very boring.

One of the most boring instructors ever! He is very moody and rude and if you ask for clarification he gets annoyed as if it's your fault.He constantly tells you that he took his nasty pill and he's not in a good mood. Sends extremely rude and insulting emails to students who ask questions. He's just too old and needs to retire faster!

He is the most stupid instructor i have came across reason: does not know how to teach students, provides no notes just goes through his slides, does not engage class in discussion. this guy is extremely boring.. and make sure you have a laptop in class to keep you occupied becuase he usually goes over or tells the Important stuff at the end of classes, such as doing assignment. thank god his tests were pretty straight forward and assignments are bit wierd but 70 % of class is tests that actually boosts your grade if you study

This class was so boring. Assignments seems easy until you get ur marks bak, super hard marker on assignments. 3 assignment worth 21% There were two exams, a midterm and final and each was 35% of ur grade. I ended up with an A so it wasnt that bad! Just study the chapters inside out!

Seemed like it was going to be a hard course based on his notes and how much it looked like you were going to have to memorize but ended up not being that tough. He is quite boring during lectures but the assignments arent bad. If he wasnt as easy I would say take another teacher, but overall, he wasnt so bad.
