Professor Kaplan was one of the best math professors I have had in my college career. I took his calc 1 class over the summer; he has videos online that were very helpful and easy to take notes on. He assigns quizzes before every exam as practive problems, does test corrections, and lets you use a cheat sheet for exams. I learned so much from him

Group work on assigned problems every class. He will always take the time during class to answer all of your questions until you understand completely. Helps you get you ready for the tests. You will do well on tests if you keep up and ask for clarification whenever you have a question.

It is a flipped classroom. He expects you to watch his video lectures prior to class. But, he reviews at the beginning of class. Each day, your group has a problem to present at the board. If you aren't able to solve it, he helps you put the steps together. It's sometimes a little hard, but you learn in class. Tests are on expected problems.

I will never take Kaplan again. First off, you are out into groups and are expected to solve specific questions on the board. He then will ask questions while you explain your problem that no one really knows the answers to. He never really taught; he gives videos to watch at home and then expects you to come in knowing what you're doing.

I had to take this class a second time because I failed it with a different professor. If it weren't for Kaplan, I don't think I would have made it through the second time either. Only four tests and if you scored bad, he would let you rework some of the problems and make up some points. I made it through with a 4, but I owe it all to him.

Professor Kaplan is truly a nice guy, who wants all his students to pass. If you put in the effort, shouldnt have any problem. The grade was based off 4 tests, a couple individual and group projects and hw that was online. He normally gave study guides with the tests and was very quick with emailing back for answers and help. I 100% recommend him

Easy A! Class is great for someone who already took calc. i would not recommend it for someone who is uneasy in calc. The class requires a lot of self teaching since there is almost no lectures and only group packets.

This dude is the best teacher on campus. Tests are similar to review guides and he always gives you a passing grade no matter what. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE ELSE FOR MATH. YOU"LL REGRET IT

didnt like him at all. feel like i didnt learn anything. everything was online. everytime he tried to teach us he would write it on the board and then block it so no one could see and then erase it beofre we could write it down. he wrote the book and it was just as useless as he was. made people more confused when they asked for help. it was crazy

I absolutely love this guy. Differential Equations is one of the hardest classes I have to take for no reason and Kaplan makes it bearable. I did not learn a single this in this class and it was total chaos but we all passed somehow. too bad he's taking a year off from teaching to write a book. GO KAPPY!

Incredibly easy and impossible to fail his class. The only difference from his practice tests and his real test are the numbers used. If you need to take calc, do whatever is possible to get this guy and you can't fail
