Very little content learned through the semester. He tested stuffs taught after midterm in midterm exam, ummm.. Expect you to fill in the blanks in an exam, so generally if you messed up with some calculation, you lose all the marks, almost no partial mark given. Exams questions aren't hard but quite unclear.

If you can follow the way he talks, you will learn a great deal from him. He is not a natural teacher though, he's more of a very experienced engineer. If you have experience with people who frequently go off topic, but in a good way and in a way that still keeps with the core subject, you will love him.

Comment:
Quite disrespectful when asking him to clarify concepts. It's almost like he's trying to discourage students that want to learn more material they have yet to understand fully due to his lack of teaching skills. Gives Midterm questions that are completely impractical in real life (unicorn registers).

I've had a lot of bad teachers, but Man-God Probst is the king of them all. Lectures are confusing and pointless. Nothing he says make sense, and exam/assignment questions sound like they're written in another language. Go to Samia's tutorials to pass, she's such a sweetheart and doesn't deserve the hell he puts her through. He's just a mean person

1st class he clearly said, Sigh, I really did not want to teach this class. There is no txtbook just notes typed on Notepad. Uses made up terms and analogies in class. Lectures are terrible, TAs are saviors. No partial marks on midterm. For Final, he said, Memory Walls will not be on exam, whole page on it. Rating is 0. Must google everything. etc.

Worse class I had so far. Does not use a text book because for him they are all bad. So he gives his own crappy version of a book. I had to study all on my own.

TERRIBLE TEACHER... its not even funny. I'm an A student, and enjoy learning, and his classes ruin everything about school and learning. He should not be a teacher, he should stick with research. Avoid at all costs, but if you do have to take him, just read his notes, skip his class and go to the tutorials.

When he say, only his notes matter he means only his notes matter! Study them very well. Also very important info, Samia Hilal as a tutor, she's amazing. Please be nice to her, some people were bullying her for more information during class, not cool. She is the reason I understand the class.

This is the only time I've give a 1-1-1 to a teacher. Don't even bother going to lectures. Skipping them will probably get a you a higher grade. Go to tutorials if you're willing to stay at school till 10PM.
