Comment:

Professor Schroat is the best professor on campus. Extremely sweet, kind, and understanding. I went to class maybe once every 2 weeks. Tests are all multiple choicememorization. An easy A every time.

Dr. Schroat is a really nice guy, but he makes an interesting class so boring. He reads off the Powerpoint slides the entire lecture. There are 4 tests and 3 papers. The key to doing well on the test is reading the book, do the flashcards online from the textbook, and pay attention to stats in the book. You don't have to attend lecture, just read.

Boring lectures. find where he gets certain answers of practice exams, bc websites he gets it from may have other possible questions that could be on the test. pretty easy 3 papers. takes effort to get an a but not too bad at all

This man is the kindest professor I've ever had. He is very nice & helpful. Classes are pretty laid back (let's us out early) so you can just kinda listen and read the chapters (use the publisher's online quizzes to study) and you'll do great. He's just honestly so nice and sweet, it's a decent class. Subject material=cool 10/10 would take again.

The textbook and study guide. You'll need to read everything in it's entirety and use the study guide to get the material. Prof. Schroat does read from the book and it covers so vague. He is extremely helpful and remains after class to answer questions. But make sure you read the book and use the study guide. That'll get you thru tests.

Very nice guy! Tries very hard to make sure everyone not only passes, but gets high grades. Explains everything that will be on the exam and helps you along with the one paper that is required. Gives multiple opportunities for extra credit, too. Can be boring, but if you ask questions and participate, the class becomes interesting!

Very interesting class as long as you read the book and work in the Study Guide. Unfortunately, whatever Schroat is explaining will not help you on tests. Most of the time, it does not coincide with each other. Read the book and Study Guide! Dr. Schroat is very compassionate and will help you succeed, but don't depend on the lectures.

Dr. Schroat is a very intelligent and empathetic person. While not cut out as much for teaching as counseling, he conveys experiential points well. Be wary of exams. Some of the questions were never covered in class, and they are like finding a needle in a haystack!

Very nice guy, but does not know how to teach. His lectures were not lectures - he just read to us out of the book, which was super boring and not helpful. Offered 3 exams & 3 papers and would have you take the exam & turn in your paper on the same day. Treated you like a HS student in class, but graded you like a grad student on papers and exams.

Very nice guy but horrible professor. A lot of students wouldn't show up during lectures b/c he just skims through what's on the book word for word (nothing on the board, no powerpoints, just reads). Exams were 100 ?s multiple choice (hard) & he included long papers due the same day. I would punch him if he weren't nice but that's no excuse.
