He's really smart and caring. It's not hard at all to pass his class, just do the readings and make a point to participate in class. He tries really hard to be understanding and accommodating. He does not lecture. Classes are dead when no one talks. It's a lot of reading, but that's with any Search class. 10/10 would recommend.

Lots of reading, but that can be every search class at Rhodes. Unlike others, he does let you have take-home tests but still is not hard. Usually gives the option for small extra credit assignments. Phenomenal personality, hard to dislike. I personally never did the reading and just made study guides for each test and have an A. Overall: good pick

Professor Sick was ok during Search 1, but Search 2 is a different story. He assigned an even more ridiculous amount reading than Search 1 and seemed to make enemies with everyone in our class. For the final, instead of a paper or a take-home exam like other classes, he assigned both a hard in-class exam and a long paper. He's just frustrating.

Easily one of the finest professors at Rhodes. Extremely helpful, very intelligent and non-condescending. Latin is definitely his main thing, but other courses are strong. Also an exceptionally fair grader. He's been my adviser from the beginning all the way up to my honors thesis. Highly recommended.

Great professor, period. I hated Latin in high school, but he made it, dare I say, pretty fun. The guy is very entertaining, especially when he tries to talk like a thug. I'd highly recommend him for anyone interested in GRS.
