She is nice, but SHE'LL DRAG A PROJECT ON FOR THE ENTIRE SEMESTER! She made us do a logo redesign for proj. 1, then she made us do the stationary for the logo redesign in proj. 2, then for proj. 3 she had us do a few webpages for the logo redesign! Basically, all 3 projects were 3 parts to the logo redesign! We (the students) wanted to move on!

Comment:

Dawn was really nice. She gave us treats and chocolate on multiple occasions and she was always in a bright bubbly mood. Even when she wasnt super bubbly, she was still very kind. The class itself was a little boring (probably because its learning the basics) but she was great. Made the class laugh a lot and just a solid genuinely nice person. ��

She's a good teacher, if you pay attention. Lesson's we're really wordy depending what she taught on. Lessons drag really easily, homework is usually really easy, and if you email her saying you'll be late she's really graceful. Just communicate.

Dawn is a nice person but her head seems to be in the clouds most of the time and you can never really understand what she's saying to you. Her critiques are vague and don't give you a great idea of where to go next with your design. She also assigns an incredible amount of homework as if her class is your only class especially first year.

Dawn is an individual. She is original and quarky and may be a bit confusing at times but has a lot of good ideas. You have to open up and learn how to understand her. If you didn't like her it's because you were too busy thinking you were amazing and didn't need her guidance. Pull your head out of your butt and see that she's teaching YOU.

Dawn's class is frustratingly inane and incomprehensible, but if you stick with it and try, you will learn alot. After about the fiftieth square-circle-triangle something finally snaps and you think "Wow, this is really surprisingly complex, I'm glad there's ONLY a circle square and triangle".

where do I begin??? (1) if you're working on your portfolio...PLEASE...do not take her advice unless you want to end up teaching Corel Draw to highschool students. (2) if she tells you that your project is "nice"...take the project home and burn it. (3) if you're 20 min. late to class, that usualy means that you in class 10 min. before she is.

Space cadet. Huge Space cadet. Sometimes I don't even think she knew what she was talking about. Circles, square, triangles....did anyone actually get anything from that....other tahn no donkeys? Such a huge waste of time in class, and time that could have been spent learning actual designing.
