Dean was very helpful in this class. He gave you the time and help that you needed to succeed. The work was not difficult and extra time was always givin if needed. He made you understand what would be expected and tought using many different kinds of methods to get our small class more involved in everything.

Comment:

The material we read wasn't terribly interesting, but the use of multimedia (the text and a film) was cool. Dean was always more than willing to help - in class, after class, whenever he had time. I never had a problem understanding what he was asking us to do, and almost all of us got As or Bs (he sometimes posts grades on the projector).

Very, very hard grading system. At least half the class had d's or lower. Very unclear with prompts and then gives you a bad grade when you don't follow the prompt that he didn't explain. Willing to give help, but difficult to understand. Not recomended.

The crital reading chioces he chooses for this class are just plain boring and invoke little thought. I always felt like I was forcing extra paragraphs out becasue he a stickler for length of papers. He is a nice guy and is helpfull.
