Gives little direction at the beginning in order to make you feel less smart, and also grades harsher. By the end of the year he becomes more lenient in order to make you feel as if you learned something. Ask questions and he'll answer, but just sit there and listen to him ramble and you'll get nothing out of the class.

If he decides he wants to pick on you a bit, although completely harmless and quite humorous, be ready to get it until you graduate. The best part is that he is completely willing to help if you need it. Also, as long as you show effort in his class, you won't get lower than a C. Also be sure to dish back the heat he gives you, he'll love it.

An interesting individual.If you’re a Sophomore or younger be prepared to be ridiculed. His exams are not cookie cutter exams,he will expect you to think and solve the problems as opposed to just regurgitating what you learned in class.Can’t avoid his courses try to learn how to cope and deal with it.

Dr. Kroll is one of my favorite professors personality wise...however, when it comes to learning I find usually its a dead end. I'll struggle with his problems for hours and not get anywhere because his instructions are so vague. If you ask for help don't expect it!!! Unfortunately you probably won't have the privilege in avoiding him.
