Difficult class and didnt learn much. Thought i was a decent writer but struggled for C's on most papers. Grades the smallest itty-bitty detail But does allow rewrites which SAVED MY GRADE. Got a B but Avoid if possible. Has to be easier and more effective 1200 classes.

The stories we read in the book were very off-the-wall. I am pretty good at english and writing papers and no one in the class made above a C. He is an interesting professor but expects class participation. If you take his class don't expect to get an A or a B for that matter.

worst professor I ever had. DO NOT take him! I had him for freshmen English.I dropped his class after a few weeks and switched professors,and its so much better. He is so weird and creepy, he doesn't care about his students and he is extremely rude and arrogant. Attendance is mandatory. If you can I highly recommend taking somebody else.

hes funny as hell. youll enjoy going to class. all you do in class is talk about little stories that you were "suposed to read". grades papers hard as hell, so you have to do alot of work on them, but you only have three papers and thats about it. if you dont like writing papers dont take this class.

I would not recommend this class. Mr. Turner is EXTREMELY impolite and arrogant, he makes unnecessary remarks, he grades too harshly, and he doesn't really care about his students all that much. I really have to wonder why a person like this would want to be a teacher in the first place. Don?t take this class. You will most likely be dissatisfied.

Before Turner I was an A+ english student and took advantage of his office hour for papers. He is a little off and does not seem to care about his students. I tried really hard and got a C. Don't take him. He is a waste of time and gets annoyed if you ask him questions. Overall, he is the worst english teacher I have ever had.

The people below are just upset because they didn't get good grades on their papers. He is a tough grader, but he lets you come into his office before you have to turn it in and proofreads it for you. His jokes are corny, but they make you laugh because they are so dumb.
