Attendance is VERY important! Quizes throughout the semester, but they're all online! Doesn't get any easier than that. Just make sure to keep up with the reading and GO TO CLASS. His lectures aren't very useful, but he tries very hard to stimulate class discussions about current events. Easy class to pass though.

he is str8 up wack don't take him. everyone hatted him in my class. he's hard. he gives you books to read he doesn't even explain them. you assk him for help and he looks at you like your stupid. he's the worst professor at queens college. the final was five essays, long essays at it too which we had to do in two hours.. is this man nuts?

Love this professor. Yes he eats, but you are allowed to eat too. He gives his opinion, but he lets you give yours too. He is fair. If you have something to say in his class, he is happy to hear. His books were interesting. No HW, just reading. His quiz are soo easy and they are online. Easy grade!

This class is amazing! Although the professor can come off as quite eccentric and sometimes short tempered, you get past all that quickly as the semester progresses. the reading is 4 anthropological studies that are soooo much better then being handed a dull textbook. i highly recomend this class!

He is very fair. He is a peoples person. He understand humanity in a different perspective and people acuse him of being leftis and he is not. Ones people start caring about social issues they acuse this person as a bad person. So what he is against the system. I love that about him. He will say it with out being hypocrite.

OMG..Professor G.Derrick Hodge happens to be one of the best professors out there & HE IS NOT BIAS!..ok well he used to pick a lot on this guy who he kinda liked in my class but other than that, he's fair & never failed anyone in my class. He wants every student to learn beyond what the difficult & boring books say. He explains it well!!
